1. Program Description

Uncharted Community, LLC ("Uncharted," "we," "us," or "our") operates a text message (SMS/MMS) communication program at JoinUncharted.com. By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms"). These SMS Terms are in addition to and incorporate our Privacy Policy.

We may send the following types of messages:

• Event confirmations, reminders, and logistical updates (e.g., transportation and shuttle alerts, venue information)

• Session reminders, schedule changes, and on-site notifications

• Poll links and feedback requests related to Uncharted events

• Member community updates and curated announcements

• Transactional messages related to your membership or registration

2. Consent & Opt-In

By providing your mobile phone number and submitting an opt-in request — whether through a web form, event registration, check-in process, or by texting a keyword to our shortcode or long code number — you expressly consent to receive recurring automated and manually-created SMS/MMS messages from Uncharted Community, LLC.

Your consent is not a condition of membership, attendance, or the purchase of any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply.

We obtain consent through the following methods:

• Submitting a web opt-in form at JoinUncharted.com

• Checking an opt-in box during event registration

• Replying YES or a designated keyword to a confirmation message

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency will vary based on your engagement with Uncharted events and programs. You can expect to receive:

• Up to 5 messages per week during active event periods (e.g., the week of a Summit or gathering)

• Up to 2 messages per week during non-event periods

We will not send messages outside of reasonable hours (8:00 AM – 9:00 PM local time) except in urgent operational circumstances.

4. Opt-Out Procedures

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from us at any time. To opt out, reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text message you receive from us. You may also text HELP to receive assistance.

Once we receive your opt-out request, we will send a single confirmation message and promptly remove your number from our active messaging list. You will no longer receive promotional or event-based messages after that point.

Please note: Opting out of SMS communications does not affect your Uncharted membership status, event registration, or your ability to receive communications through other channels (email, app notifications, etc.).

6. Liability & Disclaimers

Uncharted Community, LLC is not responsible for any delays, failures in delivery, or any other issues related to the transmission or receipt of text messages. Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed by Uncharted Community, LLC.

By opting in to our SMS services, you acknowledge and agree that Uncharted Community, LLC will not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from or related to the use of or failure to receive any text messages, including but not limited to delays, non-delivery, or technical issues. Our SMS services are provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Charges

Message and data rates may apply. Uncharted does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply. Contact your carrier for details on your plan's messaging costs.

8. Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is compatible with most major U.S. carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and other regional carriers. Coverage is not guaranteed on all carriers.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the Last Updated date above. Your continued use of our SMS service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These SMS Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
